Paul Guschlbauer at the “South African Nationals 2016”
Actually Paul Guschlbauer is looking for adventures in untouched nature. But now and then the three times RedBull X-ALPS participant wants to compete in central contests, against other pilots.
He jumped on board with a few guys of the skywalk team to take part at the “South African Nationals 2016”.
At the world famous flying area “Porterville”, Paul showed that he can push the speed even in landing approach.
In the first round he could clearly win through other great competitors with his POISON X-ALPS.
Only one negligence cost him a top placement on the podium.
“I´m more than happy with 3rd place in the EN-D category” – Paul said. “The flying conditions were amazing”
skywalk developer Stephan Gruber got 5th place and the current champion in Switzerland (females) Nanda Walliser got 6th place. Both on a POISON X-ALPS of course!
Nanda didn´t only dominate the female ranking but received a lot of respect for her prescient and competitive flying style.
Last but not least SPICE and CAYENNE pilots took the first 3 places in the sports class.
